I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE JOHN 11

John 11:25–2625 Jesus said to her, I am lthe resurrection and the lifemHe who believes in Methough he may ndiehe shall live26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never dieDo you believe this?”
27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, oI believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
28 And when she had said these things, she went her way and secretly called Mary her sister, saying, “The Teacher has come and is calling for you.” 29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly and came to Him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but 2was in the place where Martha met Him. 31 pThen the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, 3saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she qfell down at His feet, saying to Him, r“Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
33 Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. 34 And He said“Where have you laid him?”
They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”
35 sJesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!”
37 And some of them said, “Could not this Man, twho opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?”
38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a ustone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would vsee the glory of God?” 41 Then they took away the stone 4from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but wbecause of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with xgraveclothes, and yhis face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

JOHN 6 JESUS SAID TO THEM DO NOT MURMUR AMONG YOURSELVES

43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, 8“Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 kNo one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me ldraws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, mAnd they shall all be taught by God.’ nTherefore everyone who 9has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46 oNot that anyone has seen the Father, pexcept He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, qhe who believes 1in Me has everlasting life. 48 rI am the bread of life. 49 sYour fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 tThis is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread uwhich came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and vthe bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

52 The Jews therefore wquarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this Man give us His flesh to eat?”
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless xyou eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 yWhoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is 2food indeed, and My blood is 3drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood zabides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 aThis is the bread which came down from heaven—not bas your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

59 These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
Rejection by Many Followers

60 cTherefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, “This is a 4hard saying; who can understand it?”
61 When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples 5complained about this, He said to them, “Does this 6offend you? 62 dWhat then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? 63 eIt is the Spirit who gives life; the fflesh profits nothing. The gwords that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But hthere are some of you who do not believe.” For iJesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, “Therefore jI have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
Seeking Peace Amid Confusion

LEAN ON THE PROMISES OF JESUS- JESUS IS A JUST GOD AND HE GIVES US ENCOURAGEMENT . JESUS GIVES US THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND A FUTURE HOPE. HE GIVES US PEACE WHEN WE ARE IN BATTLES. HE WILL MAKE IT GOOD WHAT THE DEVIL MEANT FOR EVIL.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

These incredibly hopeful and life-giving words are a true encouragement to keep the faith and to persevere in battle!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

“Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:10-11.

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” John 11:25-26.
