2 that you shall take some of the first of all the produce of the ground which you harvest from the land that the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket and go to the [a]place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His Name (Presence).

Rehoboam's Rebellion 1kings12

And it came to past, when Rehoboam the son of Nebat , who was yet in Egypt , heard of it, for he was yet in EGYPT , HEARD OF IT ,FOR HE WAS FLED FROM THE PRESENCE OF KING SOLOMON, JEROBOHAM DWELT IN Egypt. That they sent and called him. And Jeroboham and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboham, saying, Thy Father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy FATHER, AND HIS HEAVY YOKE WHICH HE PUT UPON US, LIGHTER, AND WE WILL SERVE THEE. AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, DEPART YET FOR THREE DAYS, THEN COME AGAIN TO ME. AND THE PEOPLE DEPARTED. AND KING REHOBOHAM CONSULTED WITH THE OLD MEN, THAT STOOD BEFORE Solomon his Father while He yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people. AND THEY SPAKE UNTO HIM, SAYING IF THOU WILT BE A SERVANT UNTO HIS PEOPLE THUS DAY, AND WILT SERVE THEM, AND ANSWER THEM, AND SPEAK GOOD WORDS TO THEM, THEN THEY WILL BE THY SERVANTS FOR EVER. BUT HE FORSOOK THE COUNSEL OF THE OLD MEN, WHICH THEY HAD GIVEN HIM, AND CONSULTED WITH THE YOUNG MEN THAT WERE GROWN UP WITH HIM, AND WHICH STOOD BEFORE HIM. Rehoboam listened to the counsel of his peers in his age group rather than to follow the opinion of the wiser advisors that Solomon knew. He was filled with darkness in his heart and continued to make bad decisions. It is foolish to follow bad advice from the unwise. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Rehoboam's Wife and Son died because of his wickedness. The wicked will bow down to the Lord Thy God. May we be sealed in the blood of Jesus to flee wicked and evil ways. May The Lord save the Lukewarm, Atheist, and Agnostics. May they come to know the true and living God in Jesus name. Yahweh saves heals and delivers.
